So I've been working on this piece of art for a class and have a poem I wrote to go along with it. There is a story with it...I am living right across the street from the house I lived in when I was little, which brings up lots of memories. Anyway, I used to play with this little girl who was my neighbor all the time and this is about our fun times. I'll have a piece of art to post with this later. I'm not that into writing, so this is all new to me and I'm not even sure if this is all that great, so hopefully I'll get better!

Buttons, balloons and mudpies
Traveling to unexpected places,
A land cracked opened we discovered
Hiding right before our faces.
Inspiring our souls and minds
With just the things around us,
No need for fancy items
Inside, our inspiration was.
